The University of California and BeastMode Apparel LLC have announced a co-branded merchandise collection of T-shirts, fleece, headwear, and various gift items.
BeastMode garnered its name from former University of California and NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, who owns the company. The Cal/BeastMode Collection is licensed through the Collegiate Licensing Co. (CLC), Atlanta, and features the Cal logos paired with the BeastMode brand. The university will donate all royalties of the collection to the Fam 1st Family Foundation, a charity formed by Lynch and former NFL quarterback Joshua Johnson.
“The Cal brand represents a uniqueness, creativity, and freedom to be who you are that aligns with BeastMode,” Lynch says. “Cal is and always will be a special place to me — the best of the best — and I’m glad I could work with them to bring this collection to the fans and help support my foundation.”
The collection is available online at the school’s bookstore and the BeastMode online store. — M.Q.
