SnapSkull, Sacramento, Calif., has been granted a patent for its snapback beanie and also has secured licensing for six Collegiate Licensing Co. (CLC) universities in California.
The six universities are California Polytechnic State, California State at Sacramento, San Jose State, University of the Pacific, California State at Northridge and Pepperdine University.
According to the company, the snapback beanies are targeted at “fashion-forward” teenagers, adults, college students and sports fans. SnapSkull CEO Christopher Loftin says the patent and licenses are a step forward for the company.
