Silver Crystal Sports, Toronto, was named to two lists, both created by Fast Company, New York, for innovative companies in 2015.
It was listed No. 44 on the annual World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies for 2015 list, and No. 1 on the list of the World’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies of 2015 in Sports.
“We are simply blown away to be included on Fast Company’s coveted list and to be sharing the limelight with major brands and highly progressive, creative companies,” says Adam Crystal, co-CEO of Silver Crystal Sports. “To be named the most innovative company in the sporting world is an absolute validation of our unique FANZONES digital retail technology, which offers sports fans a totally new and exciting form of retail entertainment.”
Silver Crystal Sports earned its place on Fast Company’s lists because of its digital retail merchandising strategy, in which it leases FANZONES microfactories to retail outlets and sports venues. This, in turn, allows fans to design and print team jerseys in minutes.
“Millions of sports fans around the world now wear customized team jerseys created through our innovative on-demand technology,” says Jeff Silver, co-CEO of Silver Crystal Sports.
