The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) launched its “Find Yours” advertising campaign to highlight the off-the-field interests of its players.
“Each player has a personality with interests that are of value to all kinds of businesses,” says Steve Scebelo, vice president of licensing and business development, NFL Players Inc., the NFLPA’s licensing and marketing arm. “This campaign serves to marry players with companies looking to do business with some of the most influential athletes in the country, as well as attract new licensees for the NFLPA’s group licensing program.”
Some of the featured players include New York Giants running back and entrepreneur Rashad Jennings, and Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman and mathematician John Urschel.
As part of the campaign, the NFLPA hopes to match players with brands by providing consultation for a wide range of budgets. Coyne Advertising created the print and digital effort, and has worked with brands such as V8 Juice, Goldfish Crackers and Dannon Yogurt. — M.Q.
