Major League Baseball (MLB), New York, and the Arizona Diamondbacks will co-host the 2016 MLB Diversity Business Summit in Phoenix in March 2016.
The event will be held during Spring Training for the first time and will provide attendees with access to human resource and procurement executives from all MLB teams, the MLB Network, MLB Advanced Media and MLB’s central office.
The summit also will provide job seekers and entrepreneurs with opportunities to connect directly with decision-makers regarding business and employment.
“Diversity and inclusion are core tenets of our industry,” says MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred. “As fans gather in anticipation of the 2016 Championship Season, we will be proud to offer unparalleled access and networking toward the pursuit of business and employment opportunities within our game.”
The three previous MLB Diversity Business Summits were held in Chicago, Houston and New York during the regular season, and attracted more than 3,000 attendees from around the country.
