Manchester United Announces Partnership with HCL Technologies

Manchester United, a top soccer club in the English Premier League (EPL), announced a global partnership with IT services company HCL Technologies, Noida, India.

Under the agreement, the two entities will work together to transform the digital experience of the club’s estimated 659 million global followers.

HCL will create a United Xperience Lab to be housed in Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium. Within the lab, the two entities will explore ways in which the club uses technology to create a unified fan experience for supporters.

“Our partnership with HCL is a first for Manchester United,” says Richard Arnold, Manchester United’s group managing director. “With the introduction of the United Xperience lab at Old Trafford, we hope to demonstrate best practices within the industry to generate new ideas that leverage the latest technology available in the evolving digital landscape.”
