The Collegiate Licensing Co. (CLC), Atlanta, announced a 10-year extension of its partnership with Brigham Young University (BYU) to continue managing the school’s trademark licensing program.
“Brigham Young University is pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with CLC,” says Adam Parker, manger of licensing and trademarks, BYU. “We believe CLC has a unique ability to help us expand the brand of BYU, and stay true to the principles and values that exemplify our university. We are excited to grow our retail and online market presence throughout the world, and with CLC’s help, we are confident that will happen.”
BYU’s officially licensed product is now sold at more than 880 retail locations, which is an increase of more than 100% since 2013. Revenue from the institution’s licensed products supports academics and athletics.
