Through the first two weeks of the National Football League (NFL) season, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s No. 12 jersey is atop the list of best-selling jerseys on NFLShop.com.
Support for the Patriots’ signal caller has apparently been at an all-time high following the “Deflategate” controversy, in which the NFL attempted to suspend the quarterback for four games, only to have that ruling overturned by a federal judge.
Brady’s jersey number hasn’t changed since he entered the league more than 10 years ago, apparently making his reign atop the sales list more impressive.
Rounding out the top five in jersey sales are Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and San Francisco 49ers running back and return specialist Jarryd Hayne.
