The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), Atlanta, announced a five-year extension of its global partnership with Vanderbilt University to continue managing the school’s trademark licensing program.

The CLC took over Vanderbilt’s licensing program in 2007, and the University’s product is now sold at more than 935 retail locations, with royalties increasing more than 165% since the beginning of the partnership.

“We are honored to extend our partnership with Vanderbilt as we continue to expand the reach of its prestigious brand at retail through unique consumer-focused programs,” says Cory Moss, SVP and managing director, CLC.  “Vanderbilt’s trademark licensing team has established itself as dynamic leaders in the industry, and I look forward to our staff working side-by-side with the University to maximize the value of the Vanderbilt brand.”

The CLC currently represents nearly 200 collegiate institutions, more than 30 bowl games, the NCAA, the Heisman Trophy Trust and the College Football Playoff.
