Tulane University announced it has reached an agreement with IMG College, Winston-Salem, N.C., to extend its multimedia rights and licensing agreements through 2026.
The multimedia rights extension adds to an agreement that originally began in 2009. As part of the extension, IMG adds new assets including multiple signage opportunities at Yulman Stadium and Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse.
The agreement also includes the construction of a television and new-media production facility that will support live television, radio, streaming and digital content for Tulane Athletics.
The agreement continues to include IMG College’s exclusive representation and management of corporate partners, stadium and venue signage, rivalry series, hospitality, game promotions, radio game play-by-play and coaches’ shows, television, publications, internet sales and endorsements for coaches.
During the last 10 years, Tulane licensed products have garnered nearly $2 million in gross royalties, according to IMG College. — M.Q.
