Top of the World Headwear, Norman, Okla., has launched the Stars and Stripes Collection, that includes American flag and military style prints and colors – many of which feature collegiate brands as well.

The Collection arrives before a number of international sporting events, including the Rio Olympics and the Copa America Centenario, and the election season.

This marks the second time Top of the World has introduced a “Hotz” line of limited-edition hats. The Hotz program was implemented because the company saw a need for an extra line of fashion apparel between its typical spring, summer and back-to-school lines.

“We developed the Stars and Stripes program as a way for college fans to support their universities as well as this country that we all love,” says Renata Hays, VP, licensing, marketing, and product development, Top of the World.

The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) is also involved. It initiated the “American Collection” program with Top of the World and apparel licensee Champion.
