Sports Authority, Englewood, Colo., and consignment suppliers have reached a settlement that will resolve more than 160 lawsuits, according to The Denver Post.
Suppliers sought the return of their goods after Sports Authority filed for bankruptcy in March, though the retailer said it needed the gear to sell at the stores it hadn’t closed. In return, the embattled chain sued the suppliers to block them from seizing the products.
The settlement, if approved, would keep the products on Sports Authority’s shelves through the bankruptcy proceedings.
