The England Rugby Football Union’s licensing program has been expanded by its licensing agency, Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (CPLG), with the signing of a deal with Wattbike for a new line of branded exercise bikes and floor mats.
The deal also will include training guides and “Wattbike Challenges” featuring content supplied by England Rugby’s coaching staff.
Wattbike also will supply the England Senior squad with its non-impact training tool of choice, Wattbike’s calibrated indoor bikes, which deliver performance data and technical feedback.
“I am excited to bring together these two great brands,” says John Taylor, licensing and partnerships director at CPLG. “The England Rugby Wattbike will appeal to rugby fans of all abilities. The next 12 months will see overwhelming interest in the England Rugby brand, with retail partnerships already being formed to maximize the opportunity with the entire country supporting our team in the RWC.”
