The National Basketball Association (NBA) recently opened its three-level, 25,000-square-foot flagship store in Manhattan.
Operated by Fanatics, the store covers less space than the NBA’s old 33,000-square-foot store that closed three years ago, but has received major technological upgrades.
The LEED Gold Certified green building incorporates historical NBA memorabilia with new digital and retail features. It also is home to the largest in-store collection of official NBA and affiliate leagues’ merchandise, including jerseys, footwear, headwear and more.
There is a 400-square-foot video wall that displays the latest league news, highlights and social media posts, and high-definition displays showcase live broadcasts and game footage throughout the day.
The upper level features video game kiosks and an area for player appearances, autograph and book signings, and private parties.
