Mondogoal, Isle of Man, United Kingdom, a fast-growing global fantasy sports platform developer, announced the addition of Barclays Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur as its latest team partner.
“We are excited to partner with one of the leading clubs in English football, Tottenham Hotspur,” says Shergul Arshad, CEO of Mondogoal. “Tottenham’s rich tradition of playing entertaining and attacking football and the club’s exciting plans for the future — including its partnership with the NFL and new stadium expansion — means we cannot think of a better fan base to push fantasy football to throughout the world.”
Tottenham Hotspur recently agreed to a 10-year partnership with the National Football League (NFL) to play a minimum of two NFL games per year at the club’s proposed world-class stadium, set to open in 2018.
Based in London, Tottenham Hotspur joins a growing list of large European teams to partner with Mondogoal’s club-branded fantasy football (soccer) game. Its version of Mondogoal will debut in time for the beginning of the 2015-16 Premier League season.
The Mondogoal platform will be promoted across Tottenham’s digital channels, including an official Facebook page with nearly 7 million followers and an estimated global fan base of more than 400 million. In North America, Tottenham Hotspur has more than 40 Official Supporters Clubs, more than any other Premier League team.
Mondogoal is licensed to operate globally and is available for cash play in multiple major markets around the world, with specific emphasis on the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Ireland and Brazil.
