Genesco Inc., Nashville, Tenn., named David Baxter as president and CEO of its Lids Sports Group and a senior vice president of Genesco, effective June 1, 2016.
From 2006-2014, Baxter served as president of the sports licensed division of adidas/Reebok. Once Reebok was acquired by adidas, he oversaw the joint companies’ sports licensed business with NBA, MLS, NHL, WNBA and NCAA partners.
