FC Bayern Munich, a highly valuable German soccer club, and One Entertainment, Las Vegas, announced a licensing partnership in an attempt to boost the club’s branded merchandising strategy in North America.
“We have a strong commitment to our fan base in North America, and have developed an ambitious strategy in this market for the past years,” says Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, CEO, FC Bayern Munich.
There will be an expansion of the existing range of the FC Bayern products currently offered on the club’s United States online store, and it will be the first time club-branded merchandise will be available in the U.S. retail market.
In concordance, One Entertainment will work with FC Bayern to market, promote and license the club across a wide range of product categories.
