The University of California, Berkeley, whose athletics teams are currently outfitted by Nike, has signed a new contract with Under Armour, Baltimore, which will begin in 2017.

The contract is for a reported 10-years and $85.6 million, according to the East Bay Times. The deal is significantly larger than Cal’s current deal with Nike, which reportedly only pays the university $150,000 a year currently.

“UC Berkeley is one of the world’s top universities and a standard bearer for academic excellence and athletic achievement,” says Kevin Plank, founder and CEO, Under Armour. “It’s an honor to bring our mission for making athletes better to the Golden Bears.”

In addition to supplying Cal athletics gear, Under Armour will provide student internships, employment opportunities for Berkeley graduates and more.
