Fathead, Detroit, has signed deals to obtain the licensing rights for former NBA great Michael Jordan, all-time NHL leading scorer Wayne Gretzky and golfing great Tiger Woods, according to Forbes.
“We’ve had this extraordinary deal in our sights for quite a while,” says Patrick McInnis, CEO of Fathead. “The demand Fathead has received for these iconic athletes is unprecedented.”
The Upper Deck Co., the organization from which Fathead secured the licensing rights, is the exclusive trading card and memorabilia provider for all three athletes. The package deal will be called The Upper Deck Fathead Collection.
“My first thought was we got to blow this up and make it big,” McInnis says. “We got three of the greatest athletes in their respective sports, ever.”
