"363x277Wilson-Sporting-Goods-Logo"Wilson Sporting Goods, Chicago, announces the company will move its global headquarters to the Prudential Building in downtown Chicago in late 2017.

Currently, Wilson is located near O’Hare International Airport on the outskirts of the city. An estimated 400 employees will move to the new location, including those from the commercial, marketing, product management and business services units, and the Amer Sports America (ASA) group. ASA, which is — along with Wilson — a subsidiary of Amer Sports, handles sales for brands including Wilson, DeMarini, Louisville Slugger and more.

“This move downtown is strategically important for us as we cultivate our people, brand and business for the next century,” says Mike Dowse, president of Wilson. “For our team members, this relocation supports their professional growth by providing them with an exciting new work environment and greater access to all the creative inspiration, energy and resources of a vibrant downtown community. For our brand and business, it heightens the visibility of Wilson in the heart of the best sports city in the world, and the only city we have ever called home.” — M.Q.
