Saks Fifth Avenue, New York, has announced a partnership with NBA star Anthony Davis on an exclusive fall athleisure line for its private-label Saks Fifth Avenue Collection.
This is Saks’ first first partnership with an athlete.
The collection launches Aug. 10 online and at 23 store locations — an homage to Davis’ No. 23 he dons for the New Orleans Pelicans. Dubbed Saks Fifth Avenue x Anthony Davis, it features 11 styles, from neoprene shorts to designer joggers. Prices range from $58-$188.
“I wanted to bring athleisure to another level,” says Davis. “Collaborating with Saks Fifth Avenue on an exclusive capsule was a dream come true. I was very hands on with the entire process, from choosing the prints to designing the silhouettes—this capsule truly embodies my fashion perspective.”
Davis will make two in-store appearances this fall in support of the athleisure collection launch. — M.Q.
