The PGA of America, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., has partnered with Bon Appétit magazine for a Champions of the Course program in which golf tips are offered from PGA professionals, while cooking inspiration is offered from chefs.
The program’s culmination will take place Aug. 10-16 at the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis. Adam Rapoport, the editor-in-chief of Bon Appétit, will host the event alongside PGA of America President Derek Sprague and will feature A-list and local chefs.
The May issue of Bon Appétit will feature recipes — inspired by Whistling Straights’ signature holes — from featured chefs Amanda Freitag and John Besh, along with instruction from PGA pros.
