With Major League Baseball’s (MLB) trade deadline rapidly approaching, Majestic Athletic, Easton, Pa., is offering a promotion ensuring confidence to customers who are considering purchasing jerseys of players who are on the trading block.
The “Player Trade Protection Program” will automatically offer any customer who has bought an MLB player jersey via the company’s website a guarantee for a 50% off coupon for another jersey of their choice, assuming the player is traded after the customer’s purchase.
“We certainly can understand the commitment a customer makes to purchase a favorite player’s jersey, only to have their heart broken when he is traded the next week,” says Michael Cox, director of e-commerce at Majestic Athletic. “This season, we want to help out our customers and give them a little relief.”
The Player Trade Protection Program is currently offered between July 1 and Aug. 31.
