The National Basketball Association (NBA) and ExxonMobil announced a multiyear marketing partnership to make ExxonMobil an official marketing partner of the NBA, WNBA and NBADL in the United States and China.
The partnership marks the first association between Mobil 1 motor oil and a major sport other than motorsports. ExxonMobil will serve as an associate partner of NBA Global Games China at preseason games in Shanghai on Oct. 9 and Beijing on Oct. 12.
Throughout the season, the company will develop and promote NBA-themed campaigns to be promoted across media assets, including NBA TV, NBA.com, TNT, ABC/ESPN, the NBA App and the league’s social media channels.
