Movado Group Inc., New York, recently launched a collection of special-edition watches to celebrate Derek Jeter’s 20-year Major League Baseball career.
The Captain Series is comprised of a trio of watches designed to honor Jeter, a longtime Movado brand ambassador, “for his leadership on and off the field and to commemorate the close of his extraordinary career,” according to the company.
Combining strength, design and performance, each dial on the three Captain Series watches is customized with Jeter’s No. 2 at the 2 o’clock position. All three models also share a special commemorative Derek Jeter Captain Series case-back design, and come in specially designed packaging featuring the Captain Series seal.
