Major League Baseball (MLB), New York, has inked a lease for 400,000 square feet of office space at Rockefeller Center beginning in 2019.
MLB headquarters has been located at 245 Park Ave. since 1999 in 220,000 square feet of office space. The MLB Network will remain in Secaucus, N.J.
The ground floor of the new building, currently occupied by SportsNet New York, will serve as a retail store for all 30 MLB teams, and also will be used for player appearances. — M.Q.
