Majestic Athletic, Eaton, Pa., the makers of officially licensed on-field uniforms worn by Major League Baseball (MLB) players, is planning to have Jersey Day celebrations in every Major League city.

Jersey Day will offer fans a chance to celebrate their favorite players and teams by wearing licensed jerseys.

“Majestic has done an outstanding job of helping to create unique days for baseball fans everywhere to show their team pride,” says Noah Garden, executive vice president of business, MLB. “Jersey Day is a fun concept for baseball fans to show their fandom at school, work, the ballpark, and anywhere else they go.”

The celebrations are scheduled for two Fridays — May 22 and May 29 — at Major League ballparks.

“Jersey Day will provide baseball fans everywhere — and of all ages — an opportunity to demonstrate their passion for the game of baseball by proudly wearing the jersey of their favorite player,” says Evan Kaplan, director of licensing and business development, MLBPA. “The Major League Baseball Players Association is proud of its longstanding relationship with Majestic, and we are excited to have recruited some of the sport’s greatest players to help promote Jersey Day.”
