IMG, New York, announces VERT, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is the title sponsor for the second annual women’s volleyball showcase featuring IMG schools.
The 2016 VERT Challenge will take place at the University of Oregon from Aug. 26-27. It marks the second of the four years in the challenge between the University of Oregon, University of Florida, University of Nebraska and University of Texas. VERT will provide technology demonstrations and on-site promotions for fans at the event.
“Last year, VERT became the first wearable technology to broadcast wearable data in real time during a NCAA broadcast television event,” says Martin Matak, founder and president of VERT. “We are excited to continue enhancing the fan experience at this event using our VERTcast technology.” — M.Q.
