Exemplar Associates, a boutique trademark licensing and management firm that represents select colleges and universities, has named Michael Van Wieren as its general counsel.
Van Wieren has more than a decade of experience in trademarking and licensing with the Licensing Resource Group and Learfield. He is well-regarded throughout the trademark licensing industry, having provided counsel to colleges and universities, other properties, licensees and agents regarding multi-faceted intellectual property matters, as well as enforcement and anti-counterfeiting.
