The Collegiate Licensing Co. (CLC), Atlanta, is launching its Rock Your Colors promotion at more than 800 Lids locations nationwide.
Rock Your Colors was developed by CLC to leverage the excitement of college basketball and baseball, connect with consumers, and to elevate the college and collegiate licensed product in the marketplace.
Other retailers, including Kohl’s, Fanatics, Walmart, Paradies and Academy Sports + Outdoors, will support the Rock Your Colors promotion.
“Developing a stronger partnership with a key retailer in the college space will provide us with better tracking data on consumer behavior,” says Nicole Armentrout, senior director of brand marketing, CLC. “This will help us to deliver stronger ROI information to our partner universities to connect better with consumers on future promotions.”
Consumers are encouraged to go to rockyourcollegecolors.com, which was launched in partnership with headwear licensee Top of the World, and register for NCAA gear discounts at Lids outlets. The retailer also is supporting the promotion with features on its website and through its social media channels.
Rock Your Colors is one of CLC’s four national retail promotions, along with College Colors, Saturday Ritual and Holiday Cheer Section.
