Bryant Stays Atop NFLPA Sales List

"363x277thumb.aspx"Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant remained atop the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) Top 50 Player Sales List based on total sales of all officially licensed merchandise from March 1 to Aug. 31.

Bryant rose to the top spot during the summer, and is one of three Cowboys in the top 10, joined by quarterback Tony Romo (No. 6) and tight end Jason Witten (No. 10). The receiver sold more than 81,000 items with Dallas Cowboys Merchandising.

The top 10 also includes New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, New York Giants Odell Beckham Jr., Romo, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and Witten, respectively.

The Top 50 Player list is released quarterly by the NFLPA via its licensing and marketing arm, NFL Players Inc., and is based on overall sales of all player-licensed products via online and traditional retail outlets as reported by more than 80 NFLPA licensees, including Fanatics, Nike, VF Imagewear, Outerstuff, Fathead and more.  — M.Q
