Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, ranked No. 1 for the first time on the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA), Washington, D.C., Top 50 Player Sales List for this quarter.

The list is based on total sales of all officially licensed merchandise from March 1 through May 31, 2015.

Quarterbacks have been dominating the sales list this year, with the San Francisco 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick, the Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson, the Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers and the Denver Broncos’ Peyton Manning rounding out the top five.

Additionally, defensive lineman J.J. Watt of the Huston Texans, cornerback Richard Sherman of the Seahawks, and wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. of the New York Giants came in at Nos. 6-8, respectively.

Rookie quarterbacks Marcus Mariota of the Tennessee Titans and Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers round out the Top 10.

The list, which is released quarterly by NFL Players Inc., the marketing and licensing arm of the NFLPA, is based on sales from retail outlets as reported by more than 80 NFLPA licensees, such as Nike, VF Imagewear, Fanatics, Outerstuff, Fathead, McFarlane Toys, Oyo Sports and more.
