The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Euroleague Basketball announced that the Boston Celtics will play a preseason game Oct. 8 against Real Madrid as part of the NBA Global Games Madrid 2015 presented by BBVA.
The game will take place in Madrid at the Barclaycard Center, and tickets can be purchased beginning July 17 at Ticketmaster.
Other fixtures of NBA Global Games 2015 include the Los Angeles Clippers vs. the Charlotte Hornets twice in October in China, the Orlando Magic vs. Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro on Oct. 17 and the Celtics vs. the Sacramento Kings in Mexico on Dec. 3 for a regular-season game.
Additional games and locations will be announced at a later date.
